Koku Anyidoho and NDC to face off in court

Former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress, Koku Anyidoho and the NDC led by his former boss Johnson Asiedu Nketiah’s disagreements seems far from over.

The disagreement stems from the expulsion letter sent from the NDC to Mr Anyidoho which he was not enthused with.

In fact, Mr Anyidoho issued an ultimatum to the party to retract that letter since he still sees and regards himself as a member of the NDC. He added that a failure to do so will result in him taking legal actions to get what is due him; his position as a party member.

But it appears the NDC has not retracted that letter and are ready to head to court to face their former Deputy Chief Scribe and communicator in a legal battle.

He stated that the legal action is to set the records straight that the petition to expel him from the party is without merit.

He also stated that “apart from being a member of the NDC I am a citizen of Ghana and the Chief Executive Officer of the Atta Mills Institute, a think tank.’’

Mr Anyidoho then ended his submission by accusing Mr Asiedu Nketiah of malice against him. The tension between Mr Nketia and his former Deputy has been heating up since Mr Anyidoho lost in his bid to unseat his former boss in the last NDC delegates conference where the election of National Executives was made. And since then, they have not been on good terms as the tension escalates and the latter feels it is all Nketia’s plot to get him out of the party.
