Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Richard Attah has taken to Facebook to plead with fans of the club to exercise patience with him as he reveals fans beseeched his Facebook inbox to rain insults on his family.

The former Okyeman Planners Football Club goalkeeper was entirely dropped from the Hearts squad that secured a 2-1 away win over King Faisal in Techiman on Saturday.

Attah has revealed that some fans beseeched his Facebook DM to rain insults on him after the Phobians’ 2-0 loss to Aduana Stars in the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday.

The goalkeeper’s dwindling fortunes has seen him concede 6 goals in Hearts’ opening 5 games of the season before he was dropped to the bench for yesterday’s game.

Fans took to social media to express their disgust with the towering keeper’s performance in the club’s opening games of the season but, some took it further as they rained insults on the player and his family.
