The Ghana Football Association has announced the date for the start of the second round of the Ghana Premier League. The first round was completed over the weekend with Kumasi Asante Kotoko as the table toppers with 36 points.
Hearts of Oak who are reigning champions are in the 8th position with 24 points but will play their last match of the season against Kotoko on Sunday in a week 7 rescheduled match.
The second round will start on the weekend of 25th to 28th February and is expected to conclude by June 19, 2022.
King Faisal and WAFA will lift the curtains for the second round on Friday, February 25. Hearts of Oak will play as guests to Legon Cities in an Accra derby at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday while league leaders Kumasi Asante Kotoko will host Dreams FC on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. Great Olympics and Real Tamale United will conclude the weekend 18 encounter with a match on Monday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
