Al Hilal rewards Kotoko for contributing to football development
Management of Al Hilal has presented a plaque to Kumasi Asante Kotoko in recognition of the Porcupine Warriors’ contribution to the development of football in the African continent.
CEO of Kotoko Nana Yaw Amponsah received the plaque on behalf of the club from the management of Al Hilal.
Asante Kotoko won the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League trophy and has clinched the sole ticket to represent Ghana in the Champions League this season but would have to go through Kadiogo of Burkina Faso first.
In their preseason tour, Kotoko played Al Hilal in a friendly match on 23rd August and lost by two goals to nil to the host club. Kotoko is expected to play a few more matches in their preparation for the 2022/23 season in the coming days.
