President of the Ghana Football  Association (GFA)  Kurt Okraku has commended individuals who invest in Ghana football while urging others to follow suit.

Kurt tagged the investors as “nation builders’ and urged all Ghanaians who can, to also invest. He outlined some difficulties investors face in sponsoring the men’s and women’s leagues in the country.

The Men’s and Women’s premier league is set to kick start in September and October respectively.

BetPawa is the headline sponsor for the Men’s Premier League and Malta Guinness is the headline sponsor of the Women’s Premier League. The sponsorships come as a huge boost to the FA and the clubs who have played the league for years without any notable sponsors.
