The General Secretary for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, popularly known in the political circles as “General Mosquito” has said he will either contest for the chairman slot of the party or retire from active politics.
In an interview with Ransford K. Boakye on Pampaso, a political talk show on Radio Gold, Mr Nketia, said he has decided not to be the chief scribe of the party anymore after 17 years of stellar service.
“I have served the party as the General Secretary for seventeen (17) years. I was having three options and I have ruled out one. It is either I will be the chairman of the NDC or will retire and go home to rest”, Mr Nketia said on the Pampaso show.
