Pregnant woman who was kidnapped found but cannot speak
Reports from the Western Region indicate that the nine month old pregnant woman has finally been found .
The lady named Josephine Panyin Mensah was rescued in Axim, an area in the Western Region and immediately sent to the Axim Government Hospital for medical attention .
She was reported missing by her husband Micheal Simmons on Friday, September 17, 2021 after a search for her the previous day was unsuccessful .
According to reports, she left home on Thurday dawn but did not return but later her mother was called by a strange person demanding ransom sparking rumours of another kidnapping in the Western Region.
Her brother-in-law also told Takoradi-based Connect FM that the family received a call on Tuesday morning and they immediately rushed there and they found her alive fortunately.
The brother-in-law further narrated that they embarked on the rescue mission without the Police but later informed them about it.
She is currently safe in the hospital but only responds to written communication as she cannot speak.
