All businesses of Huang En has been shut down – Minister reveals
A revelation has been by Ashanti Regional Minister Simon Osei Mensah that shops owned by Aisha Huang have been shut down as the police commence a probe into her involvement in illegal mining.
As it turns out, she has a lot of businesses in the Ashanti region but the Minister said they have locked them up.
The minister was also surprised at the fact that despite the notorious illegal miner’s deportation in 2018 her businesses were still operating.
He said “The businesses were there, but we didn’t know they belonged to her. How she got here, I cannot tell. The investigations will unravel that”.
Reports also indicate that after her illegal entry into Ghana she tried to outwit the police by sneaking out upon tipoff so that she could elude her arrest.
The minister commended the cooperative efforts of the security agencies that finally arrested her.
