Interesting details emerging from the Aisha Huang resurfacing saga indicate that though she entered Ghana through the approved routes she had fake documents.

These new details are in sharp contrast with the reports from the Ghana Immigration Service citing that she entered the country using unapproved routes.

The Chinese galamsey queen who has gained notoriety for illegal mining along with her accomplices was remanded by the Accra Circuit Court.

An assurance has therefore been made by Mr Pelgrave Boakye Danquah, government spokesperson on National Security that this time round, Aisha Huang is going to face the full rigours of the law.

He said “For us as a government, we are aware that she entered with illegal documents; forged documents which do not represent the names”.

Mr Danquah commended the security services for still been able to track her and monitored her movements till she was finally apprehended by the authorities though she presented fake documents to enter the country again.

Ghanaians criticized her deportation in 2018 after she was arrested for engaging in illegal mining as they insisted she was supposed to be prosecuted rather.
