Shatta Wale the ‘King of Dancehall’ music in Ghana is making headlines over his decision to quit his musical career anytime soon.
The musician made his intentions of retiring from music known to the public some days ago.
Inasmuch as many of his fans find it difficult to accept that fact, his desire to go into business seems weightier than pleasing his fans.
Speaking on Daybreak Hitz, on Hitz FM, Shatta Wale stressed the fact that it was not a prank reiterating that he wants to exit the industry so other artists can shine.
According to him, he is going to spend much of his resources on businesses and also nurture upcoming artists who have the desire to follow his path.
He took to Twitter on April 1 to make the announcement adding that he will like to dedicate the rest of his life to helping other young artists make it in the industry.
Ruthy of Nhyira FM’s Entertainment tags the intentions of the musician as “depression”.
She is of the view that Shatta Wale’s decision to quit music could be a result of the fact that he didn’t win anything from BET or Grammy.
She however thinks Shatta Wale is too young to quit music as he has a lot to offer.
