Fennec Okyere was murdered on March 13, 2014 by unknown assailants at his Manner Gardens residents on the Spintex Road. Bullgod, formerly known as Bulldog was arrested as a suspect because he was alleged to have threatened the 31-year-old artiste manager who he had beefs with and was alleged to have threatened his life on radio.

Lawrence Nana Asiama Hanson as Bullgod is known in private life was discharged of all the charges in 2017 when the Attorney General said the state had no interest in continuing the case, a decision Kwaw Kese was not happy with.

Bullgod has maintained his innocence in the murder and claimed the beefs with Fennec was just for the hype and the promotion of their artists and nothing beyond that. He also said he never threatened Fennec despite their differences or bad words against each other.
