Dr Pushkin announces date for the release the ‘Outlandish’ album
US-based Ghanaian musician cum computer scientist Paul Azunre known in the showbiz industry as Dr. Pushkin has announced the release date for his Outlandish album.
The 17-track album according to the man known for his outspoken and poetic rap style will be released on January 26, 2023. Details of the album are scanty as he is yet to make any further announcements though he has hinted he could announce some more details in the coming days.
Dr. Pushkin who has been very active in 2022 with music including the release of the video for ‘Lies’, a track he made with budding Ghanaian singer Teri Wiizi. Lies got positive reviews from many players in the industry and he has since been expected to keep the momentum high.
Though not much has been said of the album which will be released in less than a month, it will surely be a big one from the former National Science and Maths Quiz champion.
The album according to the Machine Learning specialist and founder of Algorine, is a semi-autobiography and has taken two years to produce. It is a mixture of hip-hop, R&B, afrofusion, afrobeat, spoken word, rap battle and conscious rap as well as Ghana’s own hip life and high life. He also hinted that the album has a strong list of featured artistes.
