Akuapem Poloo sent to Nsawam Prison despite being granted GHC80,000 bail
There seems to be a twist to Akuapem Poloo’s recent jail sentence. After reports emerged that she had been granted bail at an amount of GHC 80,000 with three sureties and also restricted from travelling, some new twists are emerging.
The new development concerning the jail sentencing of the actress has it that she has been transferred to the Nsawam Prison. According to sources, she was sent to the female irrespective of the news that she has been granted bail.
Ghanaian actress Rosemond Alade Brown popularly known as Akuapem Poloo was granted bail on April 21, 2021, by an Accra Circuit court at an amount of GHC80,000 with two sureties all to be justified.
Deputy Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Prisons Service ASP Samuel Kofi Opoku revealed this in an interview on Media General’s Onua FM. He confirmed that she was at the Female Prison at Nsawam awaiting further details.
