Miralem Pjanić departs Barcelona for Sharjah FC
Bosnian midfielder, Miralem Pjanić of La Liga side FC Barcelona is set to leave Barcelona and join UAE Pro League side Sharjah FC after reaching an agreement in principle to leave the Catalan club.
The deal agreed on between Pjanić and Sharjah FC as revealed is a three year contract for midfielder.
Barça coach Xavi has confirmed that “Pjanić has decided to leave for more opportunities — he has been a great professional, so I think he had chances here but everyone chooses their own path”.
Though top European leagues transfer market is closed , other leagues are still in the open transfer market and new signings are being completed.
Pjanić, is set complete his medicals today and sign his contract as personal terms were completed yesterday. His departure will be a huge relief for the Blaugrana who have been trying to sell some of their stars to free up space on the wage bill after adding several new faces to their squad.
