Kumasi King Faisal and Cape Coast Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs will lock horns today, Saturday, July 10, 2021, in a fierce fight to escape relegation. The outcome of the march would largely influence their position at the end of the season on the league table.

Alhaji Grusah’s King Faisal who have found some good form of late winning 4 of their last 5 matches in the league which dates back to the week 28 fixture against Berekum Chelsea which they lost 5-0. Led by the lethal Kwame Peprah who scores for fan, the Inshallah Boys will have confidence heading into the fixture having managed a draw with city rivals Asante Kotoko in their last outing.

Dwarfs on the other hand are hoping to also pick up from where they left off last weekend when they held league leaders Accra Hearts of Oak to a draw, their plans shattered by an injury-time leveller from Kwadwo Obeng Junior. The Crabs would however pick positives from the draw having been able to tightly contain the joint prolific attack and also breaching the second meanest backline in the league.

They have picked 3 wins, a draw and defeat each in their last five matches. The Cape Coast-based side also conceded 3 goals, scored 7 and kept two clean sheets during that run with four of the goals coming against Karela United in a 1-4 away triumph.

King Faisal have scored 5 goals, conceded 7 and kept 2 clean sheets in their last 5 league matches. Five of the goals they conceded came in their loss to Chelsea in which they failed to score and have not lost any league match since then, earning 8 points out of the 15 available.

With just a point separating the 16th placed King Faisal from the 14th placed Dwarfs, it would go a lot to determine who will have a better chance of fighting to escape the drop heading to the final fixture of the season in a week’s time especially if one of them suffered a defeat.
