Gladson Awako to join Hearts of Oak after deal has been reached with Olympics for transfer to proceed

Gladson Awako in league action for Great Olympics

Accra Hearts of Oak are taking no break to celebrate their season’s double success as they have been busy with transfer business since the end of the league season.

Having reportedly added WAFA duo Enock Asubonteng and Konadu Yiadom to their ranks already, the Phobians have done some more business in preparedness for their participation in Africa next season and their title defence as well.

The latest to join their ranks is former striker, Kofi Kordzi who has signed a two-year contract with the club he left to play in Qatar last season. Another of the newcomers is Great Olympics talisman Gladson Awako who is in line to join the Rainbow club in the coming days.

Reports reaching us indicate that the two clubs have a deal in place to facilitate the player’s movement to join the league and FA Cup champions. Hearts of Oak will compensate its regional rivals with $15,000 in order to facilitate the movement.

Next on the Phobians agenda would be to complete the details to enable him to be added to the roster that will represent the club in the CAF Champions League next season before the August 15 deadline.
