GFA secures $250,000 Access Bank sponsorship for Division One league

Kurt Okraku, Ghana Football Association (GFA) President, has announced Access Bank as the headline sponsor of the National Division One League.

The announcement was made at the GFA’s congress which took place at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence in Prampram

Access bank will be providing $250,000 in cash to the league and also serve as the official bank of the league.

Teams in the Division one league will earn $5,208 (GHS 51,889) from the deal in addition to 30 pairs of football boots each from National Football Kit sponsor, Puma.

1,440 football boots will be supplied to the league and the disbursement will commence in January 2023

For the next two years, Melcom will be supplying vouchers worth GHS5000.00 to each Division One league team

Betpawa and Malta Guinness were earlier named headline sponsors for the Ghana Premier League and Women’s Premier League respectively.
