Gabonese referee to handle Hearts of Oak versus Wydad AC in Morocco
Gabonese referee, Eric Arnaud Otogo has been named the centre referee for the CAF Champions League final round 2nd leg qualifier between Wydad Athletic Club of Morocco and Ghana’s Accra Hearts of Oak.
The Gabon national will be assisted by Urbain Ondo Ndong, Felix Abaa Eyaga and Isidore Essono nze Nze.
Whereas Mohamed Abdatt Bilal from Mauritania will serve as the Match Commissioner, Abdel Hamid Radwan from Egypt will occupy the Referee Assessor post. And Hanane Tahiri Jouti from Morocco will act as COVID-19 Officer.
The fixture is scheduled for Sunday, October 24, 2021, at the King Mohammed V Sports complex in Casablanca.
Prior to this clash, Hearts of Oak have written to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) requesting to have fans at the stadium for their match against Wydad Casablanca in Accra.
Hearts were not allowed to have fans at the Accra Sports Stadium when they played CI Kamsar last month.
