Cucurella signs for Chelsea as Schmeichel moves to France with Nice

 Spanish and Brighton and Hove Albion defender Marc Cucurella has signed a six-year contract with Chelsea in a deal that will see him spend beyond half a decade at Stamford Bridge.

Personal terms were agreed upon on Monday morning. The full agreement between Chelsea and Brighton is around the region of £50 million.

Meanwhile, the movement between the two clubs is not over yet as Levi Colwill is heading to the other end in a separate deal.

In other transfer news, it has been confirmed that OGC Nice have signed Kasper Schmeichel on a 3-year contract deal from Leicester City.

The fee paid to Leicester City is £1m for a permanent transfer. Schmeichel has just been unveiled as a new Nice player.

Kasper Schmeichel’s 11-year stay at Leicester City came to an end after Nice signed the 35-year-old goalkeeper. He has a record of winning, the Premier League title, FA Cup, Championship and Community Shield with Foxes.
