You’re right Mr President, there are no substitutes – Franklin Cudjoe fire shots at Akufo-Addo
Franklin Cudjoe, Founding President of IMANI Africa has chided president Nana Akufo-Addo on his comment of not having the intentions to reshuffle his ministers despite loud calls by Ghanaians for him to exercise his powers to put his appointees on their toes.
In a reaction to the president’s assertion, Franklin Cudjoe mockingly said “the President is right. No need to change the team. All of them are recuperating from Covid in a bunker in Ukraine”.
This comes after President Nana Akufo-Addo on Monday 8th August stated that he has no intentions to reshuffle his ministers. Adding that his ministers are delivering to his expectations.
Speaking on North Star Radio in Tamale, President Akufo-Addo said he evaluates the work of his ministers consistently and feels “many of them for me[Akufo-Addo] have done outstanding work. Their output has been considerable, and that is what I look at. If the output measures expectations, then I don’t have any strong reasons to heed the call,” he maintained.
However, on Franklin Cudjoe’s Facebook page, the IMANI Africa boss took a swipe at the president using a previous statement by the President and his party that “NPP has the men” as a shot at the president.
“The President is right. No need to change the team. There are no substitutes, all of them are recuperating from Covid in a bunker in Ukraine. Let keep waiting”.
