NPP is smarter than my party – NDC man cries loud

The Regional Deputy Youth Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress in Greater Accra, Amos Blessing Amorse has expressed his anger at the ills in the party that are hindering the discovery of talents.

Responding to news making rounds on the alleged software developer picked up by the Bureau of National Investigations over election rigging, he said “NPP just recognized potentials in the young man deputy IT Director and they want to tap into it to enhance their wobbling 2024 chances. What stops the NDC from also identifying potentials and give them opportunity to help us in 2024?”

Amos believes his party, the NDC is letting the youth down. He stated that circulating the picture of the Software developer shows the NPP is smarter than the NDC, which isn’t the case.

“Indirectly, we are telling ourselves that the NPP has smart and intelligent young people than us,” he added.

The deputy Youth Organizer explained that “without any fear of contradiction that if you are looking for smart and intelligent young people in all fields of endeavor in Ghana, the NPP does not come close to the NDC. Having worked as Deputy Regional Youth Organizer for almost four years now, I have come into contact with smart, intelligent, diligent and shrewd young men and women aligned to the NDC who are angling for opportunity to bring their expertise to bear to help the Party”.

However, the young politician revealed that the albatross of his beloved NDC is “Godfatherism, cliques/camps, envy, hatred and petty gossips. These ills are worse amongst the youth in the Party. If we stop badmouthing others to supposed godfathers and instead recommend them based on their talents, we would help unearth amazing talents in the Party. If we stop building cliques/camps and open our doors to everybody to feel belonged, we would discover smart and intelligent young people to help our Party grow”.

He concluded on a Facebook post by admonishing his party to unite and support each other than pitching their downfall.

“Stop envying, hating, and spreading gossips about our friends and allow our godfathers and godmothers to know what our friends are made of, the next IT wizard to block the NPP’s rigging plans may be discovered next-door. We have always been more than them and we will always be more than them”.

COMRADES are circulating pictures of the NPP’s newly appointed deputy IT Director. The gentleman in question was once embroiled in an election rigging scandle at University of Ghana. Comrades believe, as I see it, that the gentleman was craftly appointed by NPP to help the Party’s election rigging plans in 2024.

Comrades reserve every right to be apprehensive and/or raise alarm about the guy’s appointment. But truth is, the NPP can appoint whoever they want to beef up their Party’s Electoral strategy. In fact the NPP can appoint the devil himself to hold Party position and they would not be wrong in doing so. The Party’s vacant positions are not public office for us to be scrutinizing who they appoint. The NDC cannot dictate to the NPP who they should appoint.

The NPP just recognized potentials in the young man deputy IT Director and they want to tap into it to enhance their wobbling 2024 chances. What stops the NDC from also identifying potentials and give them opportunity to help us in 2024? The more we circulate this guy’s picture and write all the horrible things we want to write about him, the more superior we project the NPP. Indirectly, we are telling ourselves that the NPP has smart and intelligent young people than us.

I can say without any fear of contradiction that if your are looking for smart and intelligent young people in all fields of endeavor in Ghana, the NPP does not come close to the NDC. Having worked as Deputy Regional Youth Organizer for almost four years now, I have come into contact with smart, intelligent, diligent and shrewd young men and women aligned to the NDC who are angling for opportunity to bring their expertise to bear to help the Party.

What have, however, been our problem as a Party are Godfatherism, cliques/camps, envy, hatred and petty gossips. These ills are worse amongst the youth in the Party. If we stop badmouthing others to supposed godfathers, and instead recommend them based on their talents, we would help unearth amazing talents in the Party. If we stop building cliques/camps and open our doors to everybody to feel belonged, we would discover smart and intelligent young people to help our Party grow.

If we stop envying, hating and spreading gossips about our friends and allow our godfathers and godmothers to know what our friends are made of, the next IT wizard to block the NPP’s rigging plans may be discovered next-door. We have always been more than them and we will always be more than them.
