Mahama shows appreciation after 2020 polls today
Former President John Mahama embarks on a Thank You tour of Ghana in appreciation of votes in 2020 elections.
Former President John Mahama has today commenced a tour of the sixteen administrative regions of Ghana to show appreciation to Ghanaians who voted for him in the 2020 polls.
National Executive Members of the NDC are scheduled to accompany the former President on the tour from the Upper East Regional capital, Bolgatanga, and continue through to Walewale in the North East Region and then to Tamale in the Northern Region.
According to the tour schedule, phase one of the appreciation tour programme will take the former President to all the five regions in the north of the country, starting from Upper East Region today, Tuesday and ending at the Upper West Region on Monday, August 23.
As part of the visit, Mr Mahama will use the opportunity to meet with Chiefs and Queen mothers, hold meetings with religious and opinion leaders, address regional and constituency executives and supporters of the NDC and also interact with the media.
