I have confidence in NPP to build a strong economy – President Akufo-Addo
President Nana Akufo-Addo has reimposed confidence in the New Patriotic Party to build a strong economy for Ghanaians as he describes the new embodiment of the NPP as a “high voltage of energy”.
President Akufo-Addo said after the party’s thanksgiving service on Sunday, July 31, 2022, at the University of Professional Studies that he is “full of strong spirit of loyalty and togetherness, a high voltage of energy and a priceless show of confidence in our capacity to weather the storm, and build, for the Ghanaian people, a stable and strong economy. I have been mightily inspired by the positive atmosphere at the Thanksgiving Service”.
Meanwhile, the government threw in the towel in July 2022 after president Akufo-Addo directed the Finance Minister to seek support from the IMF to revive Ghana’s ailing economy, which is challenged by a huge debt level, high inflation rates and high cost of living.
“On Sunday, 31st July 2022, at the University of Professional Studies, Accra, the New Patriotic Party held a Thanksgiving Service for the newly-elected national officers, and to commemorate the party’s 30th anniversary. I have been mightily inspired by the positive atmosphere at the Thanksgiving Service. I left the event humbled by the strong spirit of loyalty and togetherness, a high voltage of energy and a priceless show of confidence in our capacity to weather the storm, and build, for the Ghanaian people, a stable and strong economy.”
