Rainstorm to hit parts of Ghana today – GMet
The Ghana Meteorological Agency has forecasted that rainstorms accompanied with rains are expected to hit some parts of the country from this morning to late afternoon.
This was made known in a release issued by the GMet this morning as part of today’s weather report from the agency.
In the release, the meteorological agency indicated that it had observed a rainstorm over the south-eastern border of Togo and Ghana which is expected to drift westward to produce thunderstorms with rains over the southern half of the country from this morning into the late hours of the afternoon.
It went on to state that areas around the south-eastern borders are expected to be affected this morning into mid-morning.
“Places along the coast and slightly north of the coast will also experience thunderstorms and rains from mid-morning into the late afternoon”. The meteor agency further forecasted that the rainstorm is expected to continue towards the west to affect places like Ashanti, Western North, Ahafo and the west coast in the afternoon.
