Police woman murdered at Damongo in Savannah Region
A female Police Constable of the Ghana Police Service has been murdered in cold blood according to a statement from the Service.
The Constable, according to the statement signed by the Director of Public Affairs of the Ghana Police Service was stabbed to death at her residence at Damongo in the Savannah Region. The incident reportedly occurred yesterday according to the statement.
“She was found in a pool of blood with wounds believed to be knife stabs,” parts of the stated read.
Her boyfriend who is a suspect according to the Police is being chased by the Police in a vigorous search to get to the bottom of the matter. “Her boyfriend is highly suspected and the Police are on [sic] manhunt for him,” the statement added.
The body of the deceased officer has since been deposited at the West Gonja District Hospital and efforts are being made to contact the family to inform them of the misfortune. The Police are also assuring the public that they will update the public on the matter in due course.
