President Akufo-Addo expressed satisfaction with the progress of work and urged the contractor to ensure it is completed according to schedule.

When completed, the administration complex will house all departments of the Oti Regional Co-ordinating Council and other institutions to ensure effective and efficient administration of the region.

The president was at the construction site in the company of the Oti Regional Minister, Hon. Joshua Makabu and the Minister for Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development, Hon Dan Bowtwe.

President Akufo-Addo on Sunday, September 5, 2021, commissioned a newly constructed office complex for use by the Western North Regional Coordinating Council. That was the first of the six (6) RCC buildings to be completed.

The construction of these buildings became necessary after the President created six (6) new regions which require Regional Coordinating Councils as enshrined in the 1992 constitution.
