Martin Kpebu to lead ‘Ku me preko’ reloaded demo on November 5
Private legal practioner Lawyer Martin Kpebu is set to lead a massive demonstration against President Akufo-Addo
Private legal practitioner lawyer Martin Kpebu who is unconvinced about President Akufo-Addo’s performance so far is preparing to lead a demonstration against the president.
Tagging the president’s performance as abysmal, he urged the citizenry in a Facebook post to join him in the “Ku me preko” reloaded demonstration. He said “Ku me preko demo for God and country. Let’s join the ku me preko demo reloaded to force Akufo-Addo to resign.”
This will be the exact replication of history when in 1995 now President Akufo-Addo led a mammoth crowd to embark on a demonstration tagged “kum me preko” due to the economic situation at that time under President Jerry John Rawlings.
The lawyer has been compelled by the country’s harsh economic conditions to tow that line of protest 27 years down memory lane.
Lawyer Martin Kpebu is scheduled to lead the march himself on Saturday, November 5th 2022 from the Obra Spot at the Kwame Nkrumah interchange. He called on the president to as a matter of urgency address the economic challenges and corruption.
