Deputy Roads Minister, Stephen Jalulah has urged Ghanaians to be calm in their quest for better roads. This follows constant demands by Ghanaians for better roads with many complaining of the negative effects of the bad roads on productivity.

Speaking on the side-lines of the president’s sod cutting ceremony for the construction of the Bawjiase-Kasoa Road, he noted that the government will soon work on most of the deplorable roads across the country.

“Each one of us should be patient. Like I have always said, no amount of demonstrations can construct a road,” the Deputy Minister said.

“These people haven’t demonstrated, but they lobbied, and we found it necessary to come and do their roads for them.”

Meanwhile, Roads and Highways Minister Kwasi Amoako Attah has decried the lack of funds as the contributory factor to the slow pace of the construction of roads in the country.
