The exercise that spanned almost three months and even had to be extended now has its provisional results ready and announced by the Government Statistician Prof Samuel Anim at a press briefing in Accra.
According to the population breakdown, Greater Accra Region which had a population of 4 million in 2010 now has 5.4 million whereas Ashanti has also 5.4 million, up from the 4.8 million it posted in the 2010 census.
