EC lost the data – Sam George gives shocking reason why EC is trying to validate voters register
The Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, Sam Nartey George, has alleged that the datasets collected by the Electoral Commission for voters registrar in the 2020 general election is lost in the EC system.
According to the MP, recent efforts by the EC to register those who turn 18 years and for those already on the register to validate their names is a camouflage to run a new voters register.
He posted on his Facebook page stating that there is “Credible information available to me indicates that the Electoral Commission Ghana has ‘lost’ datasets from the electoral roll hence their insistence on the compilation of a new Voter’s register under the guise of validation”.
Sam George concluded his allegation by calling on the EC be honest and truthful to the Ghanaian people.
“The EC owes the Ghanaian people the TRUTH!,” Sam George.
