Ghanaian comedian DKB has offered himself as a defendant for the young and fast-rising musician Yaw Tog.
In a recent freestyle released by Yaw Tog to celebrate his success, he spoke about his achievement as a young artist and how great he feels after having collaborated with Stormzy.
Yaw Tog came in for criticism for the freestyle with many accusing him of altering his accent. While some felt he is deceiving himself with that change, some others felt pride has entered his head.
But DKB has something different in his sleeves and thinks people who felt uncomfortable with the video are jealous of Yaw Tog. He went further to predict that such people will die in misery and hatred.
He wrote on Twitter: “I saw the bashing all over my page and Twitter. This is not bad at all, it’s good. If you have a problem with this, you have been bleeding over his success already.”
Last week, Yaw Tog was named as BET Amplified International Artist of the month. He was the second Ghanaian to be honoured with the award in 2021 after Amaarae’s success in February.
