Stonebwoy, Sarkodie and co to perform at ‘Paris in Ghana’
The first ‘Paris in Ghana’ concert, scheduled for Friday, November 5, 2021, at the Alliance Française in Accra, will feature Afrobeats artists Passi and Orti from France.
Ghanaian music super stars Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Becca, Kwabena Kwabena, Gasmilla, and Fameye will also perform at the event.
‘Paris in Accra,’ hosted by the French Embassy in Ghana and Empire Protocol, aims to strengthen the Franco-Ghanaian partnership via music.
On Instagram Live, the French Ambassador to Ghana, HE Anne Sophie Avé, said, “This is the very first time that we have French and Ghanaian superstars together on stage to present not only their tracks and the ones you know and love, but also some exclusive duos that they have gone to record during the summer in France or across the ocean”.
“It’s going to be absolutely incredible,” she added. Some of the tracks you’ll hear have never been heard before. I consider myself fortunate to have heard some of them. And I’ve decided on my favourite. However, there are a few I haven’t heard of. I’d like to hear Sarkodie’s collaboration with Passi and Orti, as well as other collaborations. I’m sure whatever they do together will be a huge success.”
