Shatta wale has joined the team of ex-convicts, according to rap musician Kwaw Kesse.

This statement was made on Cookie Tee and Berla Mundi’s TV3 New Day morning broadcast. He shared his opinions on Shatta Wale’s death prank and disclosed that he was once mocked by the dancehall artiste and his supporters for serving time in prison a few years ago.

Kwaw Kesse said today that he and Shatta Wale are both ex-prisoners.

“One time, I was even called ex-convict by him and his fans. And stuff like that. But you know God being so good now we all we are ex-convicts,” the Mad-Time Entertainment boss recounted.

He does believe, however, that citizens have little power over how laws are implemented. The way Shatta Wale’s shooting prank was handled, according to Kwaw, should serve as a lesson to everyone who breaks the law.

“It wasn’t something I was wishing it happens to any of my colleagues, but you know we don’t have charge of the law. The law can get a grip on you at any time. And I think that’s what happened. It is really sad that my brothers had to go through it, but some of these things, you go through to learn a lesson. And I think a lesson has been learnt. You can’t be pranking people ruff-ruff like that, left and right,” Kwaw added.

Every individual, according to Kwaw, pays a high price for their independence. As a result, Ghanaians should avoid losing their independence. He went on to add that under the present Inspector General of the Ghana Police Service, the law is working well.
