Medikal arrested for brandishing a gun on social media
Ghanaian rapper Samuel Adu Frimpong, known by his stage name Medikal has been arrested by the Police on Thursday night for allegedly brandishing a gun on social media.
According to reports, he was brought to the Accra Regional Police Command and was seen at the Charge Office with his wife Fella Makafui.
Medikal who is a close friend of remanded dancehall artiste Shatta Wale who is set to spend a week in Police custody was seen in court earlier today to support the underfire Shatta Wale.
And less than half a day since that act of solidarity, he would now also need some support. Medikal’s wife, Fella Makafui had earlier on called for the release of Shatta Wale who calls her his ‘mother’.
We cannot immediately confirm the extent of his case and whether he will be granted bail tonight or not. We will keep you posted on any further updates to this story.
