Incredible Zigi, Black Sheriff and Yaw Tog get AFRIMMA nomination
Incredible reeks of vigour. Zigi has achieved another milestone in his dancing career by being the only Ghanaian nominated for the African Muzik Magazine Awards & Music Festival’s Best African Dancer category (AFRIMMA).
Michael Amofa, popularly known as Incredible Zigi has achieved another milestone in his dancing career by being the only Ghanaian nominated in the African Muzik Magazine Awards & Music Festival’s Best African Dancer category (AFRIMMA).
Davido, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Cassper Nyovest, and others have all featured Incredible Zigi in their music videos. Janet Jackson has incorporated several of his dancing techniques into her choreography and has performed them on tours and in music videos.
Incredible Zigi, who is approaching a decade of professional dancing, is now in the running for this prestigious award, competing against dancers from Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Uganda, Nigeria, Tanzania, and South Africa, and is the only Ghanaian dancer nominated.
But he has a big company in Sarkodie, Kidi, Adina, Mzvee, Headie One, Yaw Tog and Black Sheriff. Joe Mettle, Stonebwoy and Eno Barony are also present in the nominees’ list as well as David Duncan, DJ Kess, DJ Akua and Lynx boss Richie Mensah. The Ghanaian contingent is completed by Serwaa Amihere who has been nominated for the personality of the year.
