The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Frimprince Music Production has stated that his termination of the contract of gospel musician Diana Asamoah was for her to show remorse and apologize.

Speaking on Kumasi-based Angel FM, Emmanuel Anane Frimpong said he did not mean to terminate the contract between him and his artiste whom he had worked with for 22 years.

He revealed that he expected the Gospel singer to use the threat of the termination of the contract as an opportunity to apologise and change her ways, even though he refused to state what the singer had done wrong. He added that he gave her three weeks after delivering the letter, an ample amount of time for Diana to undergo self-introspection on previous happenings and apologize.

The Frimprince Music Productions CEO said he was met with surprise that the singer counter-signed the termination contract and further issued a letter of acceptance while indicating her opinions on which of the termination clauses she agrees to and those she does not.

Mr Frimpong indicated his production house parted ways with Diana Asamoah in August because, on several occasions, she has breached the verbal agreement that binds them.

He explained that he does not mind if the singer chooses to perform her songs, however, he does not want to see her put his signature or logo on any song she will produce after the contract termination.
