Social media is buzzing with many still divided on the position of gays in the Ghanaian society. Well, that won’t end anytime soon. Renowned Ghanaian gospel musician MOG known in real life as Nana Yaw Boakye has added his voice to the ongoing debate about LGBTQI.

Speaking in an interview with Ibrahim Ben-Bako of Joy Prime TV, he revealed that he is ever ready to work with gay men.

According to the seasoned gospel musician, he sees nothing wrong in working with such a person. He said he is only working in exchange for what is due him. He thus sees nothing wrong in working with gays though he is a gospel musician.

MOG who won the VGMA Male Vocalist of the Year in 2020 went further to defend gay men stating that gay men are human beings and for that reason need to be treated as such. MOG believes in the philosophy of loving gay men rather than hating them as he sees that as the only opportunity to help them correct the mistake they are making.

Going further, he made it clear that there wouldn’t be anything that would cause him to hate or decide not to work with people from the LGBTQI community.

There has been several oppositions from many people with respect to the legalization of the activities of the LGBTQI community.
