Gyakie Is Laziest And Overhyped – DJ Slim

The perception by many music lovers that fast-rising afrobeat singer Gyakie is not general acclaim after all. Top Disc Jockey, DJ Slim seems to have a different perception about her and her music career as a whole.

According to the renowned DJ, the songs Gyakie has released so far have no variety and are on the same straight which is a clearer indication that she doesn’t put much effort into working on her lyrics.

He also used the avenue to advise the young upcoming music icon not to focus on the hype she’s getting from people and do shoddy work.

Also, he noted the fact that if she doesn’t improve on herself or make time to put in more efforts concerning her musical career she might end up fading out of the music industry anytime soon.

“Gyakie to me is not even a recording artiste or she’s just being lazy. I only play her ‘forever’ song on the radio not because it’s good to me but because some people like it. But if you listen to all her songs, they are flat, but there’s so much hype around her..”, DJ Slim said.
