Ibrahim Akenmbula known by his stage name Stylish Rap Tindana has bagged his first award as a musician, a feat that sets the trail for his peers to follow.
At the Talent House Entertainment awards 2021, the rapper cum singer beat competition from several top talents to emerge the winner as the Hiplife Artiste of the Year.
He becomes the first artiste such an award from his community which has gradually become a talent haven for musicians. The young artiste hopes the victory becomes something of an inspiration for other upcoming artists and his peers to believe in their talents and push harder to reach their goals.
When asked what it meant to him after receiving his prize, he said “I feel thankful to everyone around me, my management but Allah first”.
“It tells me that my hard work is not wasted. It represents the love my fans have for me and my music,” he added.
On what he has to tell other colleagues in the industry especially upcoming ones, he said “I just want to encourage everyone to focus on whatever they do because hard work pays”.
The ‘Trouble’ hitmaker also expressed gratitude to his fans, acknowledging that the heights reached are largely due to their love and support for his craft.
“Allah bless them for the love they have shown me. They are the reason for my smile. This is just the beginning and I promise to serve them with good music,” Stylish.
The young artist paid a courtesy call on the Paramount Chief of Sirigu, Naba Atogumdeya Roland Akwara III to present the award to him and as well thank him for his blessings.
