South African Man Walks On Foot To Jerusalem To Pray
Shaheed Bin Yusuf Stakala, the Chief Executive Officer of Stakala Consortium and President of Gaironiesa Foundation from Cape Town in South Africa, decided to walk from South Africa to East Jerusalem to pray at Al-Aqsa Mosque which is considered as the third holiest site in the Muslim fraternity after Mecca and Medina.
Stakala walked all the way on foot and it took him 26 months to complete his journey where he rests and feed when along the way when necessary.
Upon completion of his journey, the Prime Minister of Palestinian National Authority (PNA), Mohammad Shtayyeh congratulated him.
Yusuf Stakala, indicated that he plans to further complete his foot journey to Mecca, adding that Prophet Mohammed did same 1400 years ago.
