Nigerien forward Victorien Adebayor could join Hearts of Oak.
The attacker is on the verge of joining Legon Cities on loan from Danish Club HB Koge.
Koge announced the transfer of the 24-year-old to the Ghana Premier League side weeks ago.
However Legon Cities themselves are yet to announce the acquisition of the former Inter Allies man.
Adebayor has not yet signed for Legon Cities with report indicating he is being convinced to join Hearts of Oak.
Representatives of the player are believed to be interested in having him move to the Phobains rather than joining the oil rich club.
Hearts of Oak had expressed interest in the Nigerien International since his days with Inter Allies.
Also the former AS Douanes star is also said to be relishing a move to Hearts of Oak.
