Ghana U20 head coach, Karim Zito, says their second group game against Morocco tomorrow is going to be tough.
The two zonal champions will square off at the ongoing 2021 U20 African Cup of Nations in Mauritania after winning their first group games;
Ghana put four past Tanzania, while Morocco won 1-0 against The Gambia both on Tuesday.
Zito believes the winner of the game will depend on who takes their chance, since both teams have similar characteristics.
“Matches between Ghana and Morocco at every level are always tough,” he said at the pre-match press conference today.
“We are both coming into the game as zonal champions, so we are expecting a very tough game.
“We have similarities in our teams in terms of style of play, but we know winning the game will depend highly on taking our chances in the game.
“Their game against Gambia was well fought by both sides. I have really watched the game again carefully.
“I felt the penalty decision was a bit harsh, but we can pardon the referees since they don’t get to watch replays before taking decisions.”
The game kicks off at 7 pm on Friday, February 19, 2021.
