Dembele contract situation is something ‘we cannot control’

Barcelona advisor Jordi Cruyff has stated that the contract situation of winger Ousmane Dembele is not under the club’s control with the French star heading towards free agency.

Jordi told Sport as reported by Goal “The situation in respect to the renovation of Dembele is not easy. I believe that what is most important is that he continues helping the team and the rest will come.

“He has had a good game, like many players that are out of contact and search for a better contract. He continues helping the team to achieve the best objectives and aside from that, we cannot control.”

Barcelona to offer Riqui Puig to Wolves for Traore

Barcelona is hoping to convince Wolves to accept Riqui Puig in order to lower the fee required to sign Adama Traore permanently.

Traore joined Barcelona in January with an option to make the deal permanent for €30million but Barcelona are looking at alternatives to cut down the fee and that involves sending Puig who has been a bit-part player this season to the other side.
