Thomas Tuchel sacked by Chelsea
Chelsea have sacked their manager Thomas Tuchel following a slow start to the season which included a shock defeat to Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League on Tuesday.
The German manager who took over from Frank Lampard and led the team to Champions League glory as well as a Club World Cup success has failed to bring the spark out of his players as Chelsea kicked off the season with Southampton and Leeds United.
Despite a derby win against West Ham United over the weekend, a shocker against Dinamo Zagreb was enough for Todd Boehly and his team to let go the former PSG and Borussia Dortmund manager.
Tuchel has managed 63 matches since taking over in 2021 with 35 wins, 1 draws and 11 defeats to his name.
