Senegal names strong XI to face Netherlands
Senegal will open their 2022 FIFA World Cup Group A campaign with a match against the Netherlands this evening with talisman Sadio Mane sidelined due to injury.
Aliou Cisse has named a strong side that includes Chelsea duo, Edouard Mendy and Kalidou Koulibaly with Iddrissa Gana Gueye and Nampalys Mendy all making the starting XI.
Sadio Mane is absent due to an injury that has ruled him out of the tournament and his place in the starting XI has been taken by AS Monaco’s Krepin Diatta. Meanwhile, Abdou Diallo has overcome an issue with his knee to start against Louis van Gaal’s men.
