Samuel Boadu name NASCO Coach of the month of June

Hearts of Oak coach, Samuel Boadu has been adjudged the best coach for the month of June thus becoming the NASCO coach of the month.
Samuel Boadu led his Phobia side to the Ghana Premier League title in June, the of such titles for the club in the last 12 years. That honour was achieved in July, but the momentum for that feat was set before in the previous month.
His side won three of the four matches in June and one draw. The wins included consecutive victories over Medeama, Legon Cities and Asante Kotoko after beginning the month with a 1 – 1 draw against local rivals, Great Olympics. His side conceded two goals and scored six while keeping two clean sheets.
Kotoko’s Mariano Barreto and James Kuuku Dadzie of relegated Ebusua Dwarfs were the other contenders for the top prize. Barreto’s Kotoko won three matches and lost their other match in June against Samuel Boadu’s led Hearts of Oak at Accra. Kuuku Dadzie’s Dwarfs masterminded three wins and a defeat, the same as Kotoko.
The win makes it consecutive successes for Samuel Boadu who was adjudged the best coach in the league for May. he will receive a television set from sponsors of the award, NASCO.
