Richard Ofori picks up an injury less than 10 days to the World Cup
Ghana’s preparation for the 2022 FIFA World Cup might just be hitting a huge rock with another injury concern as goalkeeper Richard Ofori was dropped from the squad ahead of Orlando Pirates’ Carling Black Label Cup semi-final fixture against Kaizer Chiefs.
The Ghanaian shot-stopper has been replaced by Siyabonga Mpontshane in the starting XI for the match.
Richard Ofori is among five goalkeepers named by Ghana head coach Otto Addo in the Black Stars provisional squad with the final squad expected to be announced on Monday, November 14.
