Real Madrid submits Є160 million bid for Kylian Mbappe, Ronaldo wants a way out of Juventus
Real Madrid has finally submitted a Є160 million bid for PSG star Kylian Mbappe following recent media rumours that the Frenchman wants to leave Paris, with Cristiano Ronaldo also looking for a move away from Juventus.
The French star has been linked with a move to Madrid throughout the summer, and he is yet to sign a new contract with his current deal up till next summer.
Mbappe has had to relinquish his spot as PSG’s main man after the arrival of Lionel Messi from Barcelona earlier this summer.
It may not be a surprise to see the French star roaring for a new challenge after winning four Ligue 1 titles and a World Cup during his time in the French capital.
If Real are able to secure a Є160million move for him, it would award PSG around the same amount it cost them in fee and wages.
Just like Mbape, Christiano Ronaldo only has one year left on his current deal with Juventus and he is reportedly looking to leave the Old Lady this summer.
Mbappe’s departure could eventually see Ronaldo join Messi and Neymar at PSG or recently reported Manchester City.
Ronaldo’s return to Old Trafford or Real Madrid has been rumoured, but links to Manchester City and PSG have been more persistent for the Portuguese superstar.
On other transfer news, Chelsea is busily working on both Saúl Niguez and Jules Koundé deals. A Loan with buy option proposal has been made to Atletico for Saúl as Manchester United has made no official bid yet though have been reported to also have interest in the Spaniard.
Negotiations are also on for Koundé as Chelsea are still waiting for the Zouma deal to be completed with West Ham.
Although the Blues were in the race with Manchester United for Saul’s signature, the Blues have made an official bid at the expense of Manchester United with the Red Devils now focused on Ruben Neves of Wolves and Eduardo Camavinga of Lile.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will need a defensive midfielder if only he will compete for the Premier League title this season.
