Nuamah Acheampong Godfred popularly known as Nyamer Junior did the magic for Adepa SC on 14th June 2022 at the Ameyaw Park in Techiman as his only goal qualified them to the Middle League.
The attacking midfielder joined the Division two (2) side Adepa SC in the second round of the season from Wenchiman Stars. The 16-year-old boy says he looks to develop himself to one day play for the Ghana national team and his childhood dream club Real Madrid CF of Spain. He is very optimistic about representing the Spanish giant Real Madrid in the future.
“To be amongst the best in the world, you must be the best. Am going to play for Ghana Black Stars and Real Madrid one day, so I believe the journey starts here and now. With hard work and God on my side, I will definitely play for Madrid” he said.
Abofoman FC who fought to get to the second position on the league table fell behind as the 80th-minute goal from Godfred dampened their desire and hope.
The coach Samudeen congratulated the young maestro and expressed his desire to continuously keep helping the boy to be unstoppable in the field of play.
“He is unstoppable in the team currently and I will do all that I can for him to succeed. Godfred is on fire, he goes past players with insight for goals and great football,” coach Samudeen said.
He added that with the performance of his team so far, qualifying for Division One will not be an easy task but is doable.
