Ghana forward, Mohammed Dauda, has scored his first goal for Anderlecht in their 3-1 win over Standard Liege on Sunday in the Belgium Jupiler League.
The 23-year-old came from the bench in the 61st minute to score the third goal late in the game for Kompany’s side.
Francis Amuzu opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, squeezing the ball into the net from the far post.
Jamaican defender, Kemar Lawrence, scored a belter a few meters from the penalty area to double Anderlecht’s lead.
Standard Liege halved the deficit through Selim Amallah’s curled effort from the left flank outside the box in the 83rd minute.
Mohammed Dauda put the icing on the cake in the 4th minute of additional time. He slotted home coolly when he was set up free by Francis Amuzu inside the box.
It’s the former Ghana U20 man’s 12th appearance of the season; all as a substitute.
